Come & See Evening and Coaching Day
Curious to know more about Alpha?
These offerings will give a comprehensive experience and understanding of what Alpha is and how to run it in any context.
On the evening of Friday 5 March join us for a ‘Come and See’ session to experience Alpha. This ‘Come & See’ evening will include dinner, a video talk and conversation.
Then on Saturday 6 March you are invited to the Alpha Coaching Day to explore how Alpha can equip and support renewal and mission in parishes, schools and other Catholic communities, providing new opportunities for people to encounter Christ.
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explores the basics of Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
This day coaching is perfect for those who are new to Alpha, or as a refresher. Individuals as well as Alpha teams are encouraged to come along.
The day will include:
- Understanding the New Evangelisation
- The what and why of Alpha
- Small group facilitation and team training
- Retreat coaching
- How to form an Alpha team
- The power and art of invitation
- Promotion
Date: Friday 5 March, 6pm – 8.30pm – Come & See evening
Saturday 6 March, 9am – 4pm – Coaching Day
Cost: Donation appreciated for catering which is being provided by the parish
