A CULTURAL MOMENT

SOMETHING IS SHIFTING IN THIS GENERATION. ARE WE READY FOR IT?

Young adults in Australia are asking bigger questions than they have in years. About meaning. About purpose. About God. On campuses, in share houses, in group chats and at work, conversations are happening that would have felt unlikely a decade ago.

At the same time, plenty of the young people already sitting in our churches want to talk about faith with their friends. They just don’t know how to start.

That gap is the opportunity. Join us for one evening online as we look honestly at where this generation is at, and what it could look like for your church to meet the moment.

Overview

BE ENCOURAGED, AND EQUIPPED TO ACT

This webinar is a free online gathering for leaders working with young adults and university students across Australia.

We’ll hear from leaders who are seeing this openness firsthand. We’ll unpack why this season is different. And we’ll walk through how Alpha gives your people a simple, practical way to have honest conversations about faith with the friends already in their lives.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • A clearer picture of what’s actually happening with young adults and faith in Australia right now
  • Language and confidence to talk about this moment with your team and your senior leadership
  • A practical model for equipping your young people to start faith conversations with their friends
  • Real examples from churches and campus ministries already running Alpha with this age group
  • Next steps you can act on straight away, whether you’ve run Alpha before or not

WHY NOW?

Young adults are more open than they’ve been in years.

Curiosity about faith, meaning and God is turning up in places it hasn’t for a long time. Young adults aren’t closed. Many are simply waiting to be asked.

Your young people already have the relationships.

Friendships, share houses, lecture halls, teams, group chats… The people and spaces we’ve been praying for, are the same spaces your young adults are already standing in.

What’s missing is the how.

Most young Christians want to talk about their faith. Most also say they wouldn’t know where to begin. That’s not a lack of conviction. It’s a lack of a starting point.

The right tools can change everything.

With the launch of Life Essentials: Young Adults Edition, we’ll explore a way for young adults to spark a faith conversation with friends.
